...I think that would a tremendous boost towards "legitimizing" Apple in the eyes of both Wall Street and the public.

I keep hearing this, Ed, but it seems to me that a joint venture with Apple may well do more to boost Disney's image at this point than the other way around. Sheesh, Steve's already given Disney "A Bug's Life," what more does the guy have to do for Mickey, anyway?

Two days and counting....

Mark

This is kind of a stupid question. If Disney is interested in tying in with APPL re: the internet, wouldn't it make more sense for DIS to partner SEEK with APPL. DIS owns a fair chunk of SEEK with warrants to obtain a 50.1 % share under certain conditions. I think those conditions involve the share price of SEEK being over $50/sh. If DIS wants SEEK to be a more attractive property than I think the partnership would be between SEEK and APPL. I initially thought that Sherlock was more unique/special than it actually is. (Thanks Jonathon for your analysis!!) I thought that that might make it difficult for APPL to favor one search engine over another. Since this is not the case a partnership with SEEK makes sense.
