Dear ztect, I am not that familiar with Millionaire.coms complete strategy but I have studied everything I could find on the web including how they will handle their website. They are going to be high end but all things will not be very expensive. They mentioned designer clothes, cigars, wine etc. I think many of these items would be of interest to middle class as wellas upper class executives. I don't think they will just catering to millionaires but will be offering a wide range of items that would be of interest to people with above average incomes that like luxury items. People seem to be hanging their hats on the Real Estate and megabucks cars as you pointed out. You are right. I don't think that these items will make a web site. People should view items of that measure before purchasing. Maybe they will be given such an opportunity. I know I would want to see what I am bidding on if it were for hundreds of thousands of dollars or more. Go to ebay they are selling rolex watches and getting many bids on pics. Rolex is a high end brand. From what I have read there will be a search feature on the site. I also read that millionaire will be offering items for sale as well as allowing items to be submitted by individuals, I'm not sure if it's consignment or similar to ebay. Check out their web site you may get a better idea. I think they will generate a lot of page views and sales of smaller items such as jewelry, cigars, clothes and fashion, that is my opinion. Don't forget they own a magazine. They can sell a lot of different advertising. Lets not forget other areas such as crystal, silver flatware, china ,jewelry etc. They have not mentioned these, but I think that that is where they will get their audience.
