ISSUE SPECIALISTS: The following is a preliminary list of specialists and their assigned, or requested, issues. If I have forgotten anyone that requested to be a specialist, please PM me....there are plenty of stocks that need to be tracked.

If any of you do not like your assignment, please let me know and I will change it or you can suggest one that you follow. Most of the issues I have selected have either recently been in play or are undervalued (in my eyes) and ready to break out if given the right parameters.

There will be a following post outlining what we are looking for from you specialists and Poet and I will do our best at helping you find information whenever we can. Please be aware that there is no right or wrong way to do DD. Take this assignment as an opportunity to become intimately familiar with the issue and strive to know more than anyone regarding it. Assume you are the analyst covering this issue.

The following is a list of those specialists and their assignments:

M. Scott Gegenheimer - AFCI
635CSi - BNEZ
Ayahuasca - DCLK IMRS
Barbara T - HDIE
Wes Stevens - TAVA (And possibly other Y2ks)
NewMillenium - IDTC
Tony B - AVNT
Melinda Abplanalp - RMDY
Shmar - ALMI
Myz - CREAF
Dorai - CMGI
Donna Carey - CIEN
DM - VIAX SDTI
Coriolis - IIVI HRC (Yes, two .... both medical
NoJobJim - CVIA
Steve Brooks - CYMI
Todd Legg - MMCN
J.O. - NMGC
Zora - PLCM
Spark - PMTC
MMK - PSFT
Triffin - Momentum plays of the day and AM gaps
DadisKing - Intermediate and longer term plays

Again, if I have forgotten anyone or if you want to become a specialist, please let me know.

Look for another post after this one explaining what we want from specialists.

TJ

ISSUE SPECIALISTS (SUPPLEMENT): So what is it that we are looking for in our Issue Specialists? Firstly, there is no right or wrong way to be a specialist, all information is good information. But please make sure the information is completely factual and objective.

We are looking for up to date information in the form of recent news, rumors (from other threads, CNBC, word of mouth, etc), trading ranges, price breakouts, 52 week highs/lows, earnings revisions, upgrades/downgrades, Insider selling/buying, volume spikes, TA, Stochastics, MACD, etc. Any news is good news, especially with the issues that I gave out as most trade under $25 and have not been completely noticed yet or have been beaten up and are awaiting just the right set of circumstances to once again take off.

For TA, MACD, Stochastics and etc, I would use clearstation.com as it is a very good site and is currently free.

Perhaps an initial report on the stock relaying its current price, P/E ratio, float, volume level, Insider activity, 52 week info, and recent trading range.

It is also very important to call the Investor Relations dept. and tell them that you are part of a much larger investing thread and researching their company as a possible investment idea and to ask them "What can you tell me that might influence our decision to invest in your company?" Ask them about upcoming news releases, future earnings estimates and whether or not they are comfortable with those estimates, ask them about any rumors that we may have heard about (if any). These IR people are just that, people, and often times will give out more than they probably should or will give a hint at what may be coming, listen very carefully and read in between the lines. DO NOT BE AFRAID OR TIMID ABOUT CALLING IR, THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE THERE FOR AND THERE IS NO BETTER INFORMATION AVAILABLE THAN DIRECTLY FROM THE COMPANY. Write down your questions so as not to miss anything and be sure to get answers to all your questions.

Again, we are not looking for pure recommendations on when to buy or sell, but information that can be used in determining whether we MAY want to. Note whether the volume has spiked to 3x normal avg volume and has gone up a point or down a point. Has the issue sold off from a recent run on low volume, suggesting that it will run again? These trading ranges are what we need to do well. Many stocks we can trade day-in day-out because they are so predictable ..... CPQ, ABTX, CYMI, PSQL are examples of these type of plays.

You do not have to post on a daily basis, that is not what we necessarily need, unless you have information that you deem important. This is YOUR issue, and YOU are the specialist. You tell us when a noteworthy item has occured.

Pay particular attention to news and rumor, and make sure to get this information to us as quickly as possible. These can be our quick kills and timing is everything.

If you are posting about your issue, please, when done with the post sign it as follows...or something similar

(S) ABTX

So we know that you are a (S)pecialist of ABTX.

If you wish to take on more issues because you think you can handle it, please let me know....there are plenty more. If it is too much to handle, we will assign them to someone else. Lets not bite off more than we can chew.

I think you will find this assignment educational and I assure you after a few days/weeks, we will begin to trade these issues and profit. Spreading the work around is a great way to keep on top of the issues that are in play or will be soon.

You will notice I did not assign any Internet issues. This is because they are always in play, or out of play, as a group. There is so much information available on them that you can't help but be informed. Some of the assigned issues may have internet related focuses but none are pure Inet issues.

Again, this is just a template for what we are looking for. Feel free to add or subtract as you feel fit. This is our program and a first of its kind that I have never seen before. It will make a difference but we will have to keep up with it and allow some time to pass before we can profit from it.

I look forward seeing what we can do. I will be following about 10-15 issues myself and will be doing what I can to bring more issues to the table.

Good luck, trade well ...... and lets get it on.
