Luanne,

I've been using RT for a few months and I still get scared every morning! The problem really isn't the software. If you download the manual you should have a pretty good idea how to use RT. The problem is overcoming the fear and panic. I'll be a much better trader when I can get mine in better check. I haven't heard anyone who uses MBT complain about their services, so I think you're in excellent hands.

I just started reading a book by Dr. Alexander Elder called "Trading For A Living". He's a psychoanalyst who also trades, and he deals extensively with the fear factor. I'm only on the second chapter, but I like what he's said so far.

Good luck.

Paul Kaz

There's a learning curve with RT, but it's not too bad (easy for me to say since I've been using it over a year). I would strongly suggest getting pages from the "phactor" site and from anyone else who is willing to share. The pages tend to show you the way.

Also, it was many months before I was aware of the drag and drop feature for market maker windows, charts and T/S. Hopefully someone will tell you about this <g>.

Another thing is watch out for over-trading, as direct order entry makes it real easy to "push the button"

LUANNE, MBT has a 5$ commission rate that allows a trader to buy or sell up to 300 shares. You can use that plan for up to two months. It may be a great way for you to get started with the software and more importantly the execution routes.

good luck and have fun,

funk
