CGB, Do I Think aetheists are less credible than christians as journalists? LOL, since I am neither, I am not sure why that is important. I am not even sure why you bring religion into this issue? Perhaps you are touchy and have a sore spot about something? Since it seems you think I am supporting Mother Thearesa because of my own religious beliefs, I will tell you my background. I was brought up Jewish, but left the jewish religion, because I have not found what I am looking for inside of any organized religion. The closest thing to my beliefs would be Unitarian Universalist, with a dash of new age flavor. I am not sure how this effects a Mother Thearesa vs. Princess Diana discussion, but there you have it. You seem to be much harder on M.T. than P.D. P.D. had much worse press tham what you describe. and you seem to give credit to a small minority of journalists opinion of M.T. The funniest thing about your post is the immense credit you give to P.D. charitable efforts, and seem to turn M.T. much greater efforts into a villanous thing. P.D. lent her name and a little time to some charitable efforts, when she wasn't cavorting around the globe on many vacations and living the high life. There are many questions in the press about her morals, her childishness, and immaturity. M.T. lived her entire adult life in leper colonies, helping others. P.D. I am sure could have done the same thing if she desired, but wearing designer gowns probably doesn t work as well around the dying. Many non christian people, far more credible than the one you sight, give immense credit to M.T. and her work. I will use the Dali LLama as an example. Your ability to use the net to find a few notorious posts about good people is meaningless. There are posts and sites that run down Ghandi, and Martin Luther King to name a few. Name the good person of your choice, and with time, some one will be able to find something on the web, that runs them down. Heck, if it's a good non-christian person, Emile probably has the site on file. That doesn't mean it has validity. The end result is, believe anything you want about M.T. or P.D, for that matter. I don't really care, and am finished with the subject. I just wonder why you wanted to dig up an old post, one in which was started with we can agree to disagree. Bad day? mark
