Dear Bear Down,
I have researched your points on the web. I was also concerned with the $2.50 price that they offered, I found out my info from various message boards. When they offered the $2.50 price the stock was trading at $3.00 to $4.00 a share. They obviously didn't expect such a price increase as we had seen last week. Also it was pointed out by another investor that if they needed money to finance some of their projects, wasn't it better to do it that way ,or to take a large bank loan that would increase debt. Did you know that those shares for $2.50 have to be held for at least one year and were non registerable? That is very good news to me because I wouldn't want to buy a stock today at $25 or more and then have someone dump all those shares tomorrow. I feel it is also a promising sign that they have to be held for one year because investors would predict long term stability. I honestly don't know what they paid for the magazine.
