chicken, i think that your idea that the net is bigger than the wheel is a joke. otherwise, you be da man. ;-) seriously, i don't know enough about you to pass judgment on anything else. roq cosigns for you as being together and very intelligent and that is good enough for me.

now, about the wheel. how do people get places? the wheel. how did people get to work to develop the net? the wheel. how do groceries get to your house? the wheel. how does anything physical get anywhere physical? the wheel.

the net is the ivory tower while the wheel is the practical real world.

take away the net and and a bunch of chatters have less to do. commissions for stocks go up. people have less information than they had before and before they had too much information.

take away the wheel and society as we know it ceases to exist in totality.

if you don't believe me... 1. go a week without using the net.

go a week without using anything remotely related to a wheel.

that was my only point. regarding the net, i think you've fallen hook line and sinker into the net hype. sure, it is great. i love it. especially as a consumer. but to say it greater than the wheel is put hogwash, imho.

again, i'm only talking about the one issue.
