Skeeter, very much agree w/ your wheel/net analysis. The fact is that net is more helpful for countries which don't have wheels like China, India, and others. Well in America other media (TV, phone, fax...) can work as half as good as net.

Skeeter, My most current auto was purchased in July 97. Previous to that, I hadn't had one since 1986. I've been on the net since about 1993. My two latest projects I'm working on are in Detroit and Tulsa. I'm not (northern CA). I've never even met my clients, in the formal sense of the word. I just work for them and we correspond via email for the most part. They wire funds to my bank account. I FTP the assets/services they've purchased.

Not everybody has this arrangement, I certainly agree.

But you're really not giving the net enough credence. It's as revolutionary to industry and capital markets as steam power was 100 years ago. People didn't catch on to that idea right away either&#151it took a few years.
