Joe ...

I had a lot of bad runs last year ... some from your picks, some Big Dogs ... but all in all, it was always my choice. On the other hand, I also had some good runs I(like SATH, OSFT, SKYM, MALL, DLIA, etc.) and, some of my long term losers (but favorite stocks of mine) came back with a vengeance (like CPQ, ASND, COMS). I am still holding these ... after two years of patience, it's nice to be in the profit side for a change.

It's the momo stocks that I have problems with. Whenever I picked up one of your picks I was under the impression I was getting in early. Unfortunately, I was getting in after the pack was already leaving. And the problem is if a person does not have enough money to buy a large enough quantity to make "scalping" 1/2 point or so worthwhile, they can't make a dime. When I read a post from you or *anyone* that I have followed - and that post says that something is a great buy for a position hold, or it is going to 12 and it's now 5, I think it's still a great buy even if it already went from 3 to 5. Wrong! It's an expensive lesson - but one I learned. If you don't have enough money to make it worth scalping fractions of a point, don't listen to these recommendations. You can only get burned.

In the meantime, there have been several stocks I picked up on your thread in spite of my resolve to heed my little voice and I am still holding (but losing). Stocks like ALMI and ASTM. But I think these have potential. It's sad, however, because I and many like me would rather have the cash to use on other stocks than hold these ... but they are down significantly and I have to believe (since I really like them) that they will come back. Any thoughts on these 2.
