We can throw in the fact that all time and place are an illusion anyway and one realizes that writings and even spoken words themselves are limited. For instance every word spoken by ANY great avatar, saint, mystic, etc are linear representations of the truth. It makes perfect sense that one must look at the overall context and spirit of all the great teachings. FWIW, Dr. David Hawkins claims that the Koran calibrates quite high on scale of conciousness.
