I like primary research and I thank Bear Down for locating and describing the new building. His eye witness observation, the website for the New Orleans Auction House and the press releases can be considered relevant factual material. Most everything else posted here cannot be so described.

In commercial real estate a building owner may lease what seems little more than an unfinished shell and provide the tenant with a significant allowance for tenant improvements to the interior and exterior, allowing the tenant to customize the property to his specifications and needs. I have built and leased buildings to tenants with the sheetrock showing, as has been described in this case. The critical, legitimizing legal document from the appropriate jurisdiction, the Certificate of Occupancy, has been obtained. This rings true to me.

I opined earlier today that I could not conceive of Jean Vidos handing over her seven year old business, which has been described as grossing nearly $17 million in fiscal 1998, to scamsters. In rereading the releases, it appears this will be the first in a series of acquisitions which will use the internet as one strategy to perhaps dominate an entire wholesale and retail sector. Jean obviously has a grander dream.

I'm long, and other than some sort of kickoff celebration on New Years Eve which might have been described tongue in cheek, or might have been held at a private residence, or might not have occurred, I look past the bilious ranting of those who have no position in the stock, but wish to save the rest of us from ourselves.
