22,000 to 88,000 would be a 400% increase, not 200%
these things are arithmetic, not geometric.

It all depends upon where you start...
You have kept changing the start point
Most folks use one start point...

Hence, the actual percent up should be given by the
following formula...

Endpoint/startpoint * 100.

from 22,000 to 1.2M I calculate this to be 5455%

At least, this is how I have already understood this kind of math.

I don't know which mathematical formula you are using, but
if yo start with $22,000 and end with $1,200,000 that is 5,454.5454%
or if you want to do away with the decimals. it is 5,455%
