'CUSTOMERS KEPT IN THE Y2K DARK last updated 04/01/99 21:02 Banks, utilities and airlines are keeping customers in the dark about their contingency plans for the millennium, should millennium-related computer failures crop up, according to the Consumers' Association. The consumer watchdog contacted 74 companies, posing as a worried customer, and asking for details of contingency plans and customer's rights.
