Fez, did you notice CBS is using the SUN servers?

I wonder if CBS will be getting upgrades or free services for that 15 minute SUN commercial?

Can we say, conflict of interest?

:o)

Fez, also saw the 60 Minutes piece tonight. An interesting side note in this piece was Ms. Stahl's questions to John Doer a partner for the venture capital firm of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, who helped raise money for SUNW.

I encourage you to read February's issue of the "The Angler" column in Red Herring where Mr. Doer's close relationship with Al Gore is mentioned as well as the fact that Messrs. McNealy(SUNW), Case(AOL) and Barksdale(NSCP) have Kleiner partners on their boards. A very interesting read.

I tried to post the link to the article, yet the Red Herring website has not yet posted its most recent issue.

Regards,
Marty

Fez --JAVA is a great idea. I see little difference between Bill & Scott--except Bill has just a tiny bit of reserve in public. MSFT has the world leading product. Someday something better will replace it. History proves that but it is probably a long way off and probably not JAVA.

Fighting MSFT IS like hurling a pebble at Goliath. All you accomplish is pissing him off and you get squashed... for now. Most of all for now MSFT is and will remain for sometime a great investment. No one ever said big business was nice business. The nice guys finish last-- the not so nice guys finish as Scott-- with fame and wealthy but not in 1st place..
