Does anyone know where I can get a 10 year historical chart for DEC - having trouble due to the CPQ purchase.

Many Thanks,
-Moose

Hey George, sorry to hear about that split gut <g>!

Funny thing is I'm half way into half asleep in frog's pajamas.
And I can't believe how much he's describing today's market considering he wrote it 4 or 5 years ago.

I've always enjoyed your posts also, keep in touch. Regarding underdog stocks, I don't like hardly anything, but I do like TIE right now (Titanium metals). It's about .8 or less X its book value, and would at least think it'd be a candidate for an acquisition. Seems to have just put in a base after a nasty fall and is about to test a breakthrough of the 50 day MA at about 9 1/4. 200 day MA is back up to about $17 1/2. Hasn't been a very fashionable stock but at this price it's cheaper to acquire the co. rather than start anew. If the market doesn't crash within this week or so, I think it'll break out nicely - but who knows!

take care,
Tom

George/Tom,

I wonder how big the overlap is between (former) DEC shareholders and Tom Robbins readers? I have read several of his books. Maybe the message "Buy DEC" is embedded subliminally in "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" or something.

Perhaps I should change my alias to "Conch Shell" or "Painted Stick" or something Robbinsesque :-)

GO DEC!!!!

Regards,
John Sladek
