I personally am long FIBR again, but I don't mind saying "good call Barb" in regards to your going short in March '98. Your posts were helpful in convincing me to stop out at that time too. I closed most of my position before the reverse split announcement. When that announcement came I closed the rest right away. I got back in when the Media One stories started. I now believe the Gigamux tech has been validated and look for a strong 1999. Shorting Osicom awfully dangerous ... it was the second strongest stock (to Skymall) on Nasdaq q4 of 1998, and the top performing non-internet stock.
