- No, no, no...
- I'll look for the correct release, but the Ericsson deal is a true money maker for 2 reasons:

#1 - revenue from Ericsson
#2 - all the other phone system makers will now POSSIBLY buy the same product. Remember, customers and partners include: Phillips, Siemens, Ericsson, Lucent, Nortel, Alcatel, Tadiran, Harris, NEC, Executone, & Panasonic (souce: '98 Annual Report audited by Ernst & Young).

- so the R&D is done. Just need to sell 10,000 units to positively reflect these efforts.

- you are correct - Ericsson concentrated on the points that are good for Ericsson. But Mer's correctly pointed out the advantages its products offer.

- I post Ericsson's point of view, b/c many times a little outfit advertises its deals with the big boys, but the big boys don't even find it worthy to mention the little guy.

- But in Mer's case, they consider them to be an integral partnet. That says a lot.
