And the XEONS command proces ranging from $800 to $3500 - which PAY THOSE BILLS !

By the way, Ail - I believe the 512 KiloByte (4 MegaBIT) 450 MHz L2 SRAMS are 222 sq. mm. in size so only ONE chip is used in the 512K L2 cache XEON.

And these were manufactured on the OLD 0.35 micron process - where Intel has adequate capacity with nearly depreciated equipment since their CPUs are currently all 0.25 micron parts.
