Here is another post claiming that MXi / Jedi will have KNI instead of 3Dnow:

Latest rumour from what appears to be a source in the know claims Jedi and Mxi to be KNI instead of 3Dnow!, this definitely would explain the delay. Cayenne core processors should be out at 350mhz (not PR350!) early Q2, which probably means late May, but I'll bet they are worth the wait.

I think it would actually be good for Intel if it was true.
