Re: "The high-end notebook segment has been Intel's for years, but when the K6-3 notebook comes out, it will probably be positioned against Dixon."

Speaking of notebooks, the fact that AMD will have a copper process before Intel should allow AMD to dominate in notebooks until Intel has its own copper process to match.

Cringe - Re: " Speaking of notebooks, I saw an AMD 333MHz notebook in one of the ads today."

No kidding?

I've seen THOUSANDS of ads for notebook computers with Intel 233, 266 and 300 MHz CPUs.

And in computer stores, I have seen the REAL products - HUNDREDS of notebook computers with Intel CPUs inside.

And you saw ONE ad for a notebook with an AMD chip?

Way to go, Cringe !

I'll bet you didn't see any Intel ads - did you?
