PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 1999--Hewlett-Packard Company today announced that it intends to integrate the latest Intel® Celeron™ processors into its HP Vectra VE PCs for corporations and
into HP Brio PCs for small- and medium-sized businesses.
Today's announcement reflects HP's commitment to offer customers the latest technology at the best prices.

The new PC models, slated to start shipping this week, include the following configurations (at U.S. estimated
street prices):

-- HP Brio PC -- with Intel Celeron 366MHz processor, 4.3GB Ultra
ATA hard-disk drive, 32MB SDRAM and Matrox MGA G-100 AGP graphics
with 2MB VRAM -- $842(1).

-- HP Brio PC -- with Intel Celeron 400MHz processor, 64MB SDRAM,
8GB Ultra ATA hard disk drive, Matrox MGA G100 AGP graphics with
2MB video memory and 32x CD-ROM -- $1,139(1).

-- HP Vectra VE PC -- with Intel Celeron 366MHz processor, 128KB
integrated L2 cache, 64MB SDRAM, 4.3GB Ultra ATA hard disk drive,
Matrox MGA G100 AGP graphics with 4MB SGRAM video memory, 32x
CD-ROM and 3Com Etherlink XL 10/100 TX LAN card -- $1,199(1).
