Hot Technology Companies: 140 Qualify In December

SAN DIEGO (Jan. 4) BUSINESS WIRE -Jan 4, 1999--Facts Online announced
that 140 U.S. technology companies qualified as "hot" during December
1998. To qualify, companies must have received new investments or made
major acquisitions during December. In addition, the companies must
have national presence or potential. Of the 140 companies, ownership
splits between 51 private and 89 public companies.
