We already have Netscape Browser and have used Netscape Browser b4 with AOL.

This time it wouldn't work. Housemate phoned AOL twice to discuss the problem. He followed their instructions. They said it should have worked. It didn't.

We had to download MSFT Browser. Now we have two browsers. All my bookmarks are on Netscape.

Housemate thought Netscape might not have worked because of the way he has reconfigured his computer but Netscape worked b4 with AOL.

Housemate does not have much faith in ability of people that he talked to at AOL either. So maybe they didn't give him correct information.

Housemate also exhausted by long three-week trip to Asia so maybe he made a simple mistake like: forgetting to minimize screen.

I'll copy your post and pass it along to him.

Thanks very much for taking the time to post!

Yeah! JDN, housemate "got on AOL then minimized the screen." He did what you said. Still, Netscape will not work.

So, he looked at "Profiles". He thought he might have to Add AOL profile. Didn't work.

He looked at cookies. That didn't help either.

He said he is going to call Netscape Technical Support. He does not believe AOL technical support could find their way out of paper bag. (Smiling) Not very good feedback cuz I'm AOL shareholder.

What's even funnier is that my discount broker won't connect to MSFT Browser and AOL.

Last time we installed MSFT Browser it wiped out our complete hard drive. This was several years ago, right b4 Windows 95 came out. We could not restore information so we had to install Windows 95. It took weeks to restore files.

I wanted AOL cuz I was going to trade my small caps through my discount broker!!!! Now discount broker wont work with AOL and MSFT Browser. (LOL) You gotta have a sense of humor when you deal with AOL and MSFT products!!!!

I'm sure we will get it sorted out though!!!!

Thanks for your advice!

Another good day for Sun. - Mephisto
