Great job, Tony. I'll watch this one.

DBCC:

The market looks like it will be opening with a bang this morning and I expect a couple of point pop in much-hyped stocks like DBCC. I'm in at 18 1/4 and will sell into the open.

Most likely, DBCC, like most stocks that gap up at the open, will pull back at least a point at around 10:00 to 10:30. This is when I will re-enter and is also an opportune time for those who want DBCC to buy in. DO NOT buy at the open, and DO NOT use a market order.

I'll post when I sell and will post again with my thoughts about entry price at 10 or so.

Tony: AVNT - I like what I have seen from this company so far, it is on my hot list since I uncovered it last week. I agree, it looks like it is under some heavy accumulation or is pending news. Looking forward to what you uncover.

Great report.

TJ

(S) AVNT - Correction...

A slight correction on my previous AVNT post:

After re-calibrating my time machine, I realized that this ->
Revenue for 12/99: $147M (38% gain from 12/98)
Gross Profit for 12/99: $134M (40% gain from 12/98)
Net Income for 12/99: $7M (42% loss from 12/98)

should have come out like this ->
Revenue for 12/98: $147M (38% gain from 12/97)
Gross Profit for 12/98: $134M (40% gain from 12/97)
Net Income for 12/98: $7M (42% loss from 12/97)

I've notified my former physics professor to report my adventure in the future...

By the way, these numbers came from 411stocks, but a few values (like cash and R&D expense) seem off from other places. I'm going to call IR tomorrow and ask them my questions and will make sure that these are correct.

Also, the only thing I can find as to why the stock moved the past two days would be the whisper number is $.41 EPS vs an estimate of $.39. We'll see what IR thinks (if anything).

Sorry if I confused anyone with those dates.

llater,
Tony B
