The music card and the acquisition of CCI represent a change in emphasis and direction for TSIG. Note in conjunction with the CCI acquisition was a change in management. The new management has brought a new strategy. The new strategy uses the teleservice experiences of the previous ticket and tourist teleservices as support for e-commerce sales. The teleservice aspects have been bolstered by the provision of a fully paid for "call center". CD's and the music card are only the first part of an online sales strategy that will later includes videos, books, travel, et cetera with their corresponding cards like the video card, book card, et cetera. The teleservices component gives TSIG advantages over other e-tailers who can't or don't provide the same level of telephone support for customers who can't or won't do commerce via the net or who have problems or questions. The card is a low cost extremely consumer permeable means of increasing consumer awareness of TSIG's related sites.
