MIFGY featured in a number of tips for 1999 in the UK press. In particular a stockmarket newsletter called Techinvest tipped it for 1999.

In the debate over MIFGY cash it was interesting to see Techinvest report "Cash at Oct 31 was $129M (90 cents a share). However only $7M of the merger cash-costs had been paid out by then. Allowing for the remainder reduces the cash-pile to $100M".

They go on to forecast growth rates of 25-30% in 1/2 quarters when the restructuring is complete.

Their view is also the the class actions are an irritant which are not going to unduly pain MIFGY.
