Pat Lombardo, " Pisani said on CNBC that Merrill ran a study that most stocks that are added on the S&P loose 8% in the first month.
What he didn't say is that the same Merrill study also showed that these stocks are up 31/2% "early" in the first month before being down later in the month 8%.
Of course after Merrill's big miss ( 50% of th e recent gain by my estimates ) on Kurlak's miscue on INTC, any recommendations on tech stocks should be viewed with caution I think,

AT&T this last week announced a stock split BEFORE the acquisition of TCI has been finalized!
