Sam, 8.2 mill shares in 1 hour. I say that is heavy duty "share flow" and yet we are only down 3.6 points. I call that a tiny scratch on the surface.
One of my great hopes in AOL are all the shorts. Remember the CNBC talk few days ago about how " the talk at parties these days is shorting all the high flying Internet stocks " ? This may work with small float Internet stocks but not with AOL. There is now what "a captive audience" for AOL, the S&P funds who will not sell the stock came rain or shine because they have to mimic the S&P. So if the S&P goes up, as I expect it to, in the next 3-4 weeks, these funds will mow over any short sells and we will see periodic gusts of short covering . Another trading opportunity. I love toasted shorts with jam for breakfast,
