Lynk is First to Integrate RADIUS Security into Telephony over IP Network Solutions, Providing Strong User Authentication and Accounting Services

January 5, 1999

1999--Lynk Ltd., a subsidiary of Better
On-line Solutions (Nasdaq: BOSCF), today
announced that the company's TeleLynk
products are the first IP telephony
solutions to incorporate RADIUS as part
of a complete security strategy.

TeleLynk solutions with RADIUS are
available now.

Combining TeleLynk with Lynk's RADIUS
server, Sentinel, allows network managers
to easily monitor and control multiple
databases of data and telephony network
access from a single location.

TeleLynk is a suite of IP telephony
solutions including single-line and
multi-line Gateways and a variety of
client solutions designed to dramatically
lower the cost of telephone calls and
telephony equipment by routing calls over
corporate Intranets or the Internet.

TeleLynk Gateways secure
communications using a multi-level
security approach including IVR
(Interactive Voice Response) to identify
callers, call encryption, and Sentinel.
Caller privileges are defined on the
Sentinel RADIUS server including access
to TeleLynk Gateways and other systems,
length of time users are allowed to talk,
and long distance calling rights. The
system also generates usage reports that
can easily be imported into billing
systems.

TeleLynk allows organizations to save
money and manage network traffic
efficiently using the Gateway's LCR (Least
Cost Routing) function and
call-forwarding settings.

"Lynk has leveraged its extensive
knowledge in remote-access technology
to develop the simplest-to-use, most
secure IP telephony products on the
market, " said Lynk President, Avi Oron.
"Lynk is leading the way in IP telephony
with customer-oriented solutions like
TeleLynk that deliver the services and
features that users want: security and
reliability, cost-effectiveness,
ease-of-use, and flexibility."

TeleLynk provides PBX functionality and
superb quality phone-to-phone,
PC-to-phone, and PC-to-PC
communications. This solution uses ITU
standards-based technology to optimize
network throughput and deliver
high-quality full duplex conversations.

Lynk, headquartered in Israel, is a leading
developer and manufacturer of IP
telephony and remote access solutions.
