Dear Stox 19: I dont understand why one would short this stock at this level at this time? Does it mean the shorts intend to hold for 6 months or more hoping that ALYD doesnt have a viable after 2,000 gameplan?? Seems to me at this precise moment in time y2k may be becoming hot so a short term short makes no sense. JDN

Mansour-

I found this recent post quite interesting, maybe we can share some thoughts on this. It comes from one of the more credible posters from the Yahoo thread.

Hello all ALYD investors,

I have some very interesting information for us all. Sean Kelly, the analyst from Rothschild is still actively covering ALYD stock. He has received from Alydaar's management the following numbers concerning the number of lines of code processed by
ALYD until today:

Alydaar's LOC 1997 Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 1998 Q1 Q2 Q3

LOC for Remediation 1.2 9.9 9.3 19.8 22.8 24.5 17.8
LOC for Audit 0.4 3.2 3.0 6.4 10.0 10.8 11.1
Other LOC (Unbilled) 0.3 2.9 2.7 5.8 7.2 7.7 8.1
Processed LOC Total 1.9 16.0 15.0 32.0 40.0 43.0 37.0
Cumulated LOC 1.9 17.9 32.9 64.9 104.9 147.9 184.9

He said he was quite impressed at what ALYD had achieved in such a short period of time (184.9 million LOC in 7 quarters).
He was only disappointed by the drop in Q3 due to the disruption in the US sales force. He said that Kevin Kayle had left the company with some of his salesmen in June. It took until October to find his replacement, a guy by the name of Richard Buchanan. But things are now back in place in the US sales force.

Sean will send me what he has got on the company (much more stuff he said) and his work on Y2K in general.

He said to spread around the good word. Things are looking good in the long run. Give me some feedback.

Cheers,

Barb, CA

P.S. Another message will follow with the pricings per line of code applied by Alydaar.

Here is also the pricing averages which Alydaar has applied to their lines of code processed for the last 7 quarters:

Alydaar's Pricing 1997 Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 1998 Q1 Q2 Q3

Pricing per LOC Average 0.100 0.133 0.151 0.193 0.210 0.222 0.237
