Hello all.....I'm new here but bought C:TKX at 3 last year, when they had to justify their existence (in writing) before they won world wide contract with largest European White Goods manufacturer, which they have been merrily supplying with regular orders into 12 countries since last May. Without doubt this is the darling of the Toronto exchange, and loved by analysts because they consistently told the market the truth when they were down. Now I know the market dumped in 96/97, but were'nt they quick to come back on board when presented with the company's plan for revival, restoring the company almost to the previous level i.e. $21/22. Do I need to remind everyone not to confuse American dollars with Canadian dollars, so the present 18.50 is really $13 US, so that there is naturally a lot of upside, at least in buyability and affordability, for small shareholders. Another nice thing is the marketmaking for this share. 100,000 shares per day means a dollar up, but, 20000 sold, only hits for 1/2 with quick recovery and lots of buyers ready to take up the slack....super! Totally consistent with results....write off ($8m was it?) to pay for past sins having returned to profit at year end March, fabulous Ist quarter end June; Stupendous second quarter end September, and then margins and order backlog based on CAPTIVE customers that endorse the record breaking quarter result coming up for December. Europe has been very busy, and could shortly outstrip Can and US domestic. They will profit hugely from the introduction of the Euro simplifying as it will the logistics and costs of trading in Europe. I am eagerly looking forward to their strategy for "Wearable Computers"....and... wait till you hear their plans for Internet Trading and E-Commerce, that will boost 1999 figures even more dramatically! Based on my studies of the company, and the certainty that end of year March will sustain bumper year with bumper profits, and the most exciting part, all the yardsticks in their accounts performing equally well. This one remains long term in my portfolio, having just transferred it to my pension fund(Irish law prevents sales without Trustee's approval). That's my committment to one of my top ten shares in 30 years trading. Roll on December result for nice warm, comfortable feeling.... its really nice to know that it does'nt matter what's goin on out there, this one will keep rolling on....BLUE CHIP!!! Their systems become an integral component of their customers' CORE TECHNOLOGY!!! Fabulous Company! The IrishWireLess!!
