Buying some AMEN here [11] on news of "reported impressive 4th quarter operating results" and increased traffic. LOW FLOAT and runs far when it runs. . .gamble.

Maybe a one nighter. . .NBTY is like a freight train. . .it moves slowly upward because its float is enormous. Should also be gapper, IMO.

Staying focused on Inets with news at this point, tho I don't trust MMs this week.

Crosswalk.Com Reports 73% Pageview Growth in the Fourth Quarter of 1998
Rebranding, New Product Releases and Marketing Initiatives Spurred Year-End Surge

January 04, 1999 12:00

CHANTILLY, Va., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- DIDAX INC. (Nasdaq: AMEN) today reported impressive 4th quarter operating results for its award-winning crosswalk.com(TM) Web community, which saw pageviews jump from a third quarter monthly average of 1,273,500 to over 2,200,000 in the fourth quarter, a 73% increase, while membership increased 20% over the third quarter to end the year at 147,400. This represents a ten fold increase in Web site traffic over the same period in the prior year, while membership more than tripled in 1998.

William Parker, CEO and president of DIDAX, credited the results to several factors, including a simplified brand name and URL for the site, making it easier to communicate and remember; unique product releases ranging from a proprietary and free Web access filtering system to in-depth content areas for Christian music and personal finance; and the site's largest ever marketing campaign which tapped into core Christian radio audiences as well as targeted print vehicles.

"This is just the beginning," Parker said. "We invested the second and third quarter of 1998 essentially recasting the Web site, developing the software platform and branding of crosswalk.com which has led to the fourth quarter release of the Music and Money channels, new services and the initial testing of various approaches to marketing the new crosswalk.com. We are committed to seizing opportunities for further market share and revenue growth given this momentum going into 1999."

Crosswalk.com(TM) is an online Christian community portal offering a growing range of channels, resources and services that cover the spectrum of life within a Christian context. With a focus on "information for Christians, not just Christian information," site visitors and members can now tap into new channels targeting music, personal finance, and careers (in beta version), lifestyle channels focusing on issues for men and women, and services ranging from free Web access filtering to online shopping and family-friendly movie reviews to games, chat, forums, local events, news, free email and a filtered full-Web search engine.

DIDAX INC. is primarily known as the creator of crosswalk.com(TM) (www.crosswalk.com), the 1997 Christian Web Site of the Year. The Company generates revenues through the sale of sponsorships and advertising; the online retailing of Christian and family-friendly products manufactured or developed by others (music, books, apparel, gifts, etc.); commissions and referral fees from co-marketing relationships; memberships in affinity marketing programs (affording participants price discounts and other benefits of group purchasing power); and to a lesser extent, the continuing provision of technology services to Christian organizations.
