Jay, I've been wasting too much time on politics around here, but I'm cutting back. We got 10 1/2 inches here, I'm sure it's nowhere like the mess in Chicago. Less snow, more space to put it, and probably more snowplows per road unit. Schools open as usual today, except for a few rural places. There was a 64 car pileup in suburban Milwaukee this weekend, though. Usually Cheeseheads are better at handling inclement weather, it being the land of the frozen tundra and all. I guess some were overconfident.

Doesn't surprise me that Wild Bill's making a killing. He'll probably cash in 2 days before the bubble bursts, too. Told him once I'd give him my money to invest.

Cheers, Dan.

Happy New Year ... Glad to know you're still on the thread.
We got 16-24 inches of snow here in Chicago, How much did you
Cheeze heads get???

The record here is still the blizzard of 1967, but I wasn't alive
to verify that ... However, I do remember the 1979 blizzard.

I was in Chicago for both the 1967 and the 1979 blizzards. In 1967, I remember sledding off the top of our garage, as the snow went all the way up to the roof.
