I have a question for you and anyone else on the thread, I had someone ask me last week who was setting up their first brokerage account what stocks I would recommend. I naturally lean toward the tech issues and I don't think you can go too far wrong with the CSCOs, INTCs, LUs, etc.....but I also think that since he's in his twenties he can afford to take some of the money for more speculative stocks, have any suggestions? He's starting out with $40K. bp
