I think alot of tech funds realize there are few growth stories in major tech as cheap as the Q! I also have a bad feeling we are going to get bought soon.

4 Hypotheses on today's move:

1) Fund managers who couldn't show QCOM on the books after a flat year are willing to include it in the portfolio now.

2) MM's hypotheses - it is a good tech story and tech funds are looking for one.

3) Purchase of ATI by BEL will bring price competition to ATT in national roaming market and may force ATT to switch to CDMA sooner rather than later.

4) Buyout - hope not.
