FRED SOLD!? >>p.s., Fred sold. I'm still holding awaiting Q4 report, or 50, whichever>> I'd like to end this rampant speculation about all the cake I ate recently on the subject of SELLING my position in Nextel. Yes, I sold, but compared to last year the IRS bite wasn't all that bad. I've made MSFT-like gains in Nokia over the past 2+ years and carry a major position in Novell since the srubbing bottom days last fall. Crossing swords with my other half over my commitment to Nextel was more of a demonstration of my frustration: hey, we all "get crazy" now and then. I got my point across, ate my cake and am now a humble servent to all the higher, more level heads that prevail on this an other Nextel threads. But the final bottom line is: I got back in 1-2+ points lower with the largest position I have carried to date. So, yes Bernie and Arnie, "Fred sold" but let's end it right there. Again, I ate a lot of cake, filled my tummy with vinegar and now am, like Jimmyooo, "tanned and ready to go!". Nextel's potential is gigantic. Their management signals and policies frustrate me. But that's life. My solution is to get more proactive with users all across the country. We have a great board here and on Yahoo, but we also want some of the high ARPU average Joe/Jill cellular users to come over and get involved with Nextel. Nextel is the ultimate networking technology for mobile workers. And the beauty is everything going "mobile". People in offices behind a desks are fast becoming dinosaurs. I get most of my writing done early in the morning and late at night. By day, I'm a networking, calling, Nextel fanatic. Can't wait for IP data, cross SMR networking, national DC. BTW, I can't post on Yahoo because my other PC is down and my passwords are always buried somewhere. That's it folks. I've confessed, taken 10,000 lashes and am now very happy I came to my senses. God bless Father Arnie.... PS - Jimmyoo, is the Doolittle Inn still available - "doolittle...do less...doolittle...."
