zdnet.com It's not "gee-wiz new technology", but very important. Accessing your desktop from anywhere and from any desktop machine can catch on fast. Microsoft has led people to believe that we need all the platform specific power of a 450 Mhz PC with 128 megs of RAM. Don't bet on it. Web based email account became an instant success. There are tens of millions of accounts out there. Many of the new web based applications will also have PDA versions as companions, so that you truely have access to everything that is yours, no matter where you are. Mike
