There has been some concern about 144 filings on the RB thread. (for some reason I can not post there today). Someone asked if there will be alot of selling since GE is now current.
What we will probably see is filings for intent to sell, which does not mean they have to sell. After one files, they have 90 days to sell. If they do not sell during that time frame, they have to file over, so on and so forth..
Dino made an interesting comment over on RB. These 144 restricted shares become free trading after a 2 year holding period. So for those who enjoy posting names of folks who file for 'insider' trading, your job will be more difficult.
So, did you all hear what Jimmy Johnson did with his box of Flutie flakes? No doubt some of you will think that is manly and funny. But does Jimmy know that the proceeds go to a fund for autistic children? My guess is he doesn't care. Sorry for the off topic discussion.
