For the price of Social Security, I could fund retirement, disability insurance, health insurance, and probably still have one third of the money left over. As we saw today with the long-term care tax credit of $ 1,000, more of the money continues to be funnelled to the largest voting bloc. $ 1,000 contributes less than one month's cost for long-term care. It's at best an empty gesture.
