Bill DOJ should investigate AAPL ? Shh might find out that SUNW's and IBM's JAVA operations are headquartered across from S Jobs' favorite handicap parking spot !

Plus Scott McNealy seemed to set the stage on "Sixty Minutes" last night for the DOJ to extract MSFT as a AAPL investor .

The CES show is in Vegas this week but it looks like AAPL will limit its portable consumer offerings to an alliance with 3Coms' Palm.

But keeping reading about a January "Super Bowl" advt by AAPL . Would be a great spot for the P1 but increased revenues are this Mac World's focus:

" Meanwhile, Apple hopes to build on the positive momentum
generated by strong sales of the iMac as well as build on the
earnings it generated in 1998. The goal for the upcoming year:
set a course for revenue growth in addition to profitability. "

" Financial analysts say Apple needs to drive and sustain
revenue growth to propel its stock price to a level similar to
those of comparable companies in the PC industry. The new
products to be unveiled in January will set the tone for the
company's potential in 1999. "

>Don't get too cocky!<

Not with the market so toppy and the near-term sentiment on AAPL in particular (and small-midcaps in general) so szchizo.

I'm just looking for value and AAPL (with all its potential) still represents that to me.

If AAPL just gets to $50 by years end, (not unreasonable given consensus FY'99 earnings) it'll still outperform most of the other things I own.

My horizon is Jan 2001, (1901?). The near-term stuff is theater.

>If it all comes true, it might also be Top 10 Reasons for DOJ to investigate Apple for cornering all those markets and using their market advantages!<

Your mouth to God's ear.
