...an Ampex web holding company could end up with a significant stake in a dozen or more promising young companies for a relatively small cash outlay. ( IF they pitched their case persuasively to these entrepreneurs) Now that would catch the market's eye in time. But they would have to firm revenues to give that strategy time to play out. If they have such a structure in mind........ditto to all that say they better get motoring with it. Excuse me....may well just be chasing smoke again ...hearing tomtoms.
