What else would you look into after a sell-off? I can't think of a damn thing right now besides those tech stocks, even if their P/Es are massive and its not like oil is going to sell off as well.

Thanks for the Boeing comment. An analyst named James Clarke that frequents the "Value Investing " and "Buffettology" threads mentioned that a recent meeting he participated in with Airbus left him feeling that perhaps the price competition was getting ready to subside, and that perhaps Airbus is now happy with marketshare. Given the market structure and cyclical growth, both should be able to earn supra-normal profits. IMO.
