Is it your position that misery loves company? It doesn't seem to be contested that the liberal philosophy is anything goes from a moral point of view. From a governing point of view the democrats and their "cheerleaders" seem to want to punish the working class and the producers in order to reward the faithful who eat out of the public trough. Higher taxes, centralized big government, spoils for the constituency who either don't produce or for the high level fat cats who get the tax code written for their benefit so they will contribute more to the democratic puppets.
