Bosco, you realize of course that a similar device applying electroconvulsion to people with some mental problems is still practiced, and it is not very far from the chair. I have seen X-Ray of people having their bone crushed by the force of the contracting muscles on these structures (the bones, I mean) due to electroconvulsion.

Are you not happy that NH is one of the few state that has not applied this tool on the last 50 years (it is still on our book as "fair punishment", however, unlike our more enlightened neighbors to the south who, IMHO, find this practice nothing less then barbarian).

I should not have opened this Pandora box, now will be embroiled in a discussion of the merits of capital punishment.

Bosco, Folks;

Anyone have an explanation for a simple country boy here? Why would Soros call for the IMF to serve as a central bank for the world? What about the world bank? And isn't a conversion of the IMF to a central banking authority such a big stretch that we would be better off just eliminating the IMF and redefining a new authority? All of this is too far out to be worthy of meaningful debate I guess but I am really scratching my head here.

On another note: With Soros' recent gaffe re: Malaysia and a call for an overthrow of the government here, and now this remarkable statement, does anyone else think Soros, as a private citizen, is a bit of a loose cannon?

Best,
Stitch
