Royco, >>>My wife is recovering from a cold after we returned
from the Silicon Hills to visit our younger son in
Austin, TX, who finally had some time off.<<<

Silicon Hills! Can't they even come up with something relatively original, like Pecos Peaks, or something? (says the Silicon Valley bigot).

I saw a bit on TV about other technology pockets in the country using silicon in the moniker, besides yours. There was Silicon Prairie in the midwest, Silicon Alley in New York, forget if any others. Whatever turns them on. Boy, Unisys must be up $5 based on your touting alone. First day back at work, guess I'm a wisea** today, huh?

Tony

Royco. EDS/UIS connection. Yes, I posted the involvement of UIS when I wrote about EDS. EDS did not participate today. I guess the reason is that the deal is not signed and sealed yet and EDS is still a come back kid. Those last words remind me that I read the Drudge report after hearing a question directed to the White House Press guy. Wow.

I saw a write up from one of the internet writers that they used to own EDS but gave up on them a while ago. Just like me, gg, but that it may be worth a second look now. Well, I took that look gg.

You were brave to hold on to all of your Intel so long. I had sold some earlier this year. If I had not made money in some of those internet stocks, I would have probably bought all of it back. But now I will also wait for a pull back, if it comes, and buy more again. But I have not regretted that I diversified a bit. I am looking my accounts over right now and will reposition myself for the new year.

What a wild day this was. Up a lot, down quite a bit and then up a bit. At least the NAZ did well and so did most of the techs. Intc, LU etc. great.
