There will be 4 big differences between Celeron and Pentium (II/III)
in 1999:

1). brand equity
2). KNI instructions
3). 66 bus versus 100/133 bus
4). high-end Pentium will have 'higher Mhz' than high-end Celeron

This should be more-than-enough for Pentium to command a nice 'premium'.
