I think the hype about their Virtual Computer also some options plays helped. I hope to see some follow thru ..The last few times it didn't happen.

Not a regular visitor to this thread, but thought I'd stop by to post the following URL which contains an article that appeared about SGI in PC Week magazine today. Here's the link:

The contents of this article might have something to do with the price move. It's about an impending announcement of new NT-based workstations from SGI.
