heh- I think most of us ran into Anthony under similar circums. but thats typical when someone is good at what they do as alot of the folks here are.

I rarely short only because I am making a decent living off trading the long side so why change? I stick with what im comfortable with.. That dosnt keep me from spending half my day here to see if something that is moving is trash or worth a trade on the long side. After all, nobody who is long a stock is going to honestly give me the negatives until they have dumped the position.

Lots to learn from short sellers.. Just my opinion, but it would seem that folks who primarily short stocks have a much better grasp on the markets in general and spend a LOT more time researching what they are getting into.

... very interesting reading re: tokyo joes thread.. Im neutral regardless but quite impressive results if they can be proven... Sorta like an Internet mutual fund that invested in AMZN, CMGI, and YHOO and nothing else! :) I only subsribe to Market Gems, and thats a different animal all together.. very respectable/classy gal that Jenna.. Id rather not be a party to a service that may force me into a visit with the folks who watch over us in NY... as it is im always paranoid when posting a message here on s/i yapping about manipulation etc etc..
