Starr had also written some kind of brief for the Paula Jones case which many lawyers agree was a clear ethical violation if not a legal violation.

Starr also worked for a tobacco company ( he prepared an appeal of a law suit for one of the companies). Without mentioning the name of the tobacco firm, they had been found guilty of placing an additive into their reduced tar and nicotine cigarettes that would make the addictive rate 3 times as great!!! Nice clients Mr. Starr represents.

The tobacco firms were about to unleash a "Josephine Camel" ad crusade to target teenage girls. There motive was to addict the females and automatically get their eventual children as addicts. Apparently, if you start smoking while you're a teenager, then you are a life-long addict. Starting after the teen-age years gives you a easier time quitting. Starting while a teenager causes your body to make receptor cells for nicotine.

We all know that the Clinton's were one of if not the first to dare take on the cigarette industry. Starr was representing the tobacco firms who were irate with the Clinton's.
