I believe what they are considering is a forward split
which will increase the number of shares in the float and
make the stock more liquid in trading.

Unlike a reverse split, which more often than not, puts a stock
in the path of MMs who short it, a forward split can only help
EXGP.

The way it works can go like this: if the forward split is 3 for 2
you get three shares for every two you own. The price is adjusted
down somewhat, but generally seeks its way back up to the previous
level. Good for shareholders, because we are holding more than we did before!
